Allo’ Allo’
Occupied France and Rene put in his part for the Resistance. All your favourite characters from the popular Lloyd/Croft TV comedy were on show: Rene, Edith, Herr Flick, Gruber, Michelle, Helga and die anderen. Alasdair Hawthorn directed and the year was 2014. Jack Hodes played Rene and Edith was played by Jan Christie. Jan had no idea she’d have to dress up in stockings and dance and screech through a song as the character Edith ably assisted by June and Christine. The play was well received by audiences and the cast had a ball.
