Open Day & Auditions – 7 June 2026
Sunday 7 June, 2.30pm
Giffnock Theatre Players are looking for new members to join us for our next production, Thornton Wilder’s Our Town. Whether you’re interested in acting, helping backstage, or just fancy becoming part of a friendly local theatre group, we’d love to meet you.
Come along to our clubrooms at: 267 Fenwick Road, Giffnock, G46 6JX (Just across from Sainsbury’s)
The afternoon is a chance to:
- Meet current members
- Find out more about the club and upcoming production
- Have a look around our clubrooms
- Learn about opportunities both onstage and behind the scenes
If you’d like to audition for Our Town, we’ll be holding informal auditions during the afternoon. No pressure and no previous experience needed.
You’re welcome to bring along a short piece to read if you’d like.
We’re also looking for people interested in:
- Set building and decorating
- Props
- Wardrobe and costumes
- Sound and lighting
- Front of House
- Stage crew
